Please check out the answers to frequently asked questions about buying recipes and photos:
What is a semi-exclusive recipe?
When buying a semi-exclusive recipe, you are purchasing the use rights to a recipe and photos that a limited number of other people are also purchasing. The ingredients image, process photos, and recipe ingredients lists/directions are shared by all buyers but the final images of the prepare dish are exclusive to each buyer.
How many people buy each recipe?
Unless noted in the product description, all semi-exclusive recipes on this site are sold in sets of 5. That is, 5 people at most will share the process images and recipe text.
Do I get the copyright to the images and recipe?
Purchase of a semi-exclusive recipe from Twists & Zests grants you full digital use rights in perpetuity to the images and recipe instructions. You can use the recipe for any of your own blogs/social media/ebooks, but you cannot sell the recipe or use of the images to someone else. If a publisher, editorial, brand approaches you about using the recipe or photographs, please contact me to discuss further use rights.
How do I find out what ingredients are in each recipe?
All recipes include the descriptions of the things they are free-from if you are looking for allergens/specific diets. You can also find the ingredients image as part of the process sample images for a broad overview of what’s in the recipe. If there is a particular ingredient you are looking to avoid (or include), please email me with which recipes you are interested in and I will let you know the general ingredients.
Do I have do anything to the recipe or images after I buy them?
All recipes and images are sold ready to publish, though it is recommended to at minimum resize the images to fit your blog theme. Many people choose to adjust the wording in the recipe instructions to match their voice and so that the exact same wording is not seen by search engines for the purposes of SEO.
