Red cabbage braised in a spiced tomato broth with onions is a flavourful side dish. Use up a whole head of cabbage by transforming it into a tender vegan side dish full of Mediterranean flavours. Pan seared wedges of cabbage are braised in a tomato and harissa broth with onions and raisins for a touch of sweetness. Excellent over couscous or rice or as the side to any kind of protein.
Recipe is gluten free as written but photos show couscous as a serving suggestion.
